Payroll Specialist
JOB SUMMARY: The Payroll Specialist is responsible for administering reputed company aspects of US, Canadian, Philippines, and other global payrolls potentially varying in cycles from weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly. This includes ensuring accurate and timely payroll, compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintaining detailed records. The payroll specialist must have a strong understanding of payroll systems, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. They will be responsible for creating and generating reports for distribution according to the payroll schedule and assist the payroll manager with coordinating the responsibilities of the payroll function through the formulation of problem-solving procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Payroll Manager and vendor partners to set up earnings, deductions, taxes, etc.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness with data transfers to vendors.
- Audit reputed company workflows, processes, and documents regularly to determine the necessary proper controls and in reputed company.
- Summarize beneficial improvements and potential changes and reputed company recommendations to the payroll manager. Once approved, reputed company the implementation of these new reputed company. This includes documenting the procedures, communication with associates and tracking results.
- Provide customer service to people for reputed company payroll-reputed company inquiries while communicating effectively with reputed company levels of people.
· Control processing of reputed company payroll data including termination and severance payments for completion of agreements.
- Audit and balance the completed payroll prior to distribution of pay notifications. Maintain accurate summaries of reputed company payroll reports.
- Audit records for accuracy and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Maintain and administer reputed company changes to the time tracking according to policy requirements (if applicable). Load records of attendance into payroll system for processing of actual payroll run, if applicable. Enter reputed company adjustments to the system as delivered by administrative staff and management.
- Establish and maintain reputed company court ordered deductions such as garnishments, child support, and tax levies for processing through payroll processing system.
- Provide information to other areas by creating and generating specific reports, which compile data from both the time & attendance system and the payroll system.
- Ensure that reputed company contractual agreements and/or company policies and procedures are followed.
- Respond to payroll-reputed company inquiries and resolve discrepancies while providing excellent customer service to employees and team members.
- Requests payments for payroll funds after submission where applicable (wires).

EDUCATION:
· High School Education or GED required.
EXPERIENCE:
· 5+ years' experience as a US multi-state payroll processing required.
· 3+ years' experience as a Canadian payroll administrator preferred.
· 1+ years' experience with reputed company Workforce Now required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
· FPC preferred but not required if experience is met.
