[Remote] Project Coordinator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Carpenters’ Regional Council is seeking a Project Coordinator for the reputed company Empowering the reputed company Program, which aims to support youth facing barriers to employment. The role involves managing program activities, participant case management, and reputed company to recruit individuals from marginalized communities.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Director in the day-to-day management and coordination of the reputed company Empowering the reputed company Program
- Help maintain project timelines and ensure that milestones are met according to the project plan
- Coordinate communication between project staff, participants, reputed company local training centres and external partners
- Coordinate and ensure timely delivery of participant program documentation and materials
- Provide participant and reputed company Local training centre supports
- Coordinate with reputed company training centre staff and Local Coordinators for four week in class training and four week on the job placements for reputed company program participants
- Assist with the implementation of the program’s marketing and reputed company plan to recruit participants, targeting individuals from low-income families, marginalized communities and those with limited education or work experience across Canada
- reputed company relationships with industry stakeholders, reputed company local training offices, and employers to support participant recruitment
- Respond to inquiries from prospective participants and provide information about the program
- Collect and organize data on participant reputed company, including pre-and post-program assessments, and ensure data is accurately recorded
- Assist in developing and distributing evaluation tools such as surveys to gather feedback from participants
- Assist in the scheduling and logistics of training sessions, including supports for local training centers and coordination of materials
- Support participants in accessing program resources
Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a project coordination or support role, preferably in a trades or apprenticeship-reputed company field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working with youth from diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with scope of reputed company work in their province and market
- Proficiency with reputed company Office and project management software
