Remote Legal Counsel Specialist

In this role, you will have a profound impact on the renewable energy sector by providing essential legal support for our partner's rapidly expanding utility-scale energy storage business. • Provide legal advice on construction, corporate and commercial law matters in support of the energy storage business unit in the United States
• Negotiate and draft EPC agreements, equipment supply agreements, subcontractor agreements, long-term services agreements, operation and maintenance agreements, product warranties, performance guarantees and various other reputed company
• Assist with reputed company aspects of project management and project execution, including drafting legal notices, change orders, interpreting contract language and providing strategic and business-oriented advice
• Manage litigation and dispute resolution as needed
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with reputed company stakeholders—including customers, vendors, EPCs, and utilities
• Coordinate and supervise reputed company counsel while balancing legal costs with business goals

Requirements

• Strong academic credentials and licensed to practice law in the United States
• At least 5 years' experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction and infrastructure reputed company at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house legal department
• Experience working in the energy industry, ideally in renewable energy and/or energy storage
• In-depth understanding of United States renewable energy incentives (IRA tax credits) and compliance regulations (OBBBA)
• Knowledge of anti-dumping/countervailing duties (AD/CVD), tariffs generally, OFAC, CFIUS, UFLPA and other trade-reputed company and regulatory matters
• Experience and willingness to reputed company negotiations of reputed company commercial reputed company
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 5–15% of the time
