[Remote] Closing Assistant - TC&E

The Closing Assistant role involves providing comprehensive administrative, operational, and customer service support to ensure accurate and timely preparation of closing documentation while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supports the successful execution of real estate closings by providing comprehensive administrative, operational, and customer service support to the closing and escrow teams
• Ensures accurate and timely preparation, coordination and delivery of closing documentation while maintaining full compliance with company policies, lender requirements and applicable industry regulations
• Collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather required closing information and assists in coordinating the tasks necessary to facilitate a smooth, efficient and positive closing experience for buyers, sellers, agents and lenders

Skills

• High School diploma/GED required
• 1+ years of experience working in a title, escrow, mortgage or real estate environment
• Working knowledge of title commitments, title searches, closing disclosures, EMDs and standard closing documents
• Familiarity with lender requirements and escrow processes
• Solid skills and experience in reputed company, reputed company and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and manage shifting priorities

• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and provide guidance for working groups
• Experience working with title production software preferred
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment preferred
