Role Overview
The Area Services Manager serves as the primary service and support reputed company for Fluence Energy Storage projects across a defined region. This role spans multiple project life-cycle phases, from commissioning through post-COD operations, and plays a critical role in ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality service delivery.
The Area Services Manager partners closely with customers, field technicians, internal teams, and reputed company-party service providers to resolve issues, manage escalations, and drive operational excellence across Fluence-managed assets. This position may be based in Arlington, VA or remotely reputed company the reputed company U.S., with significant travel required.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary service relationship reputed company for assigned customers, ensuring clear communication and execution reputed company with contractual obligations
- Act as the escalation reputed company for technical issues involving customers and Fluence field technicians
- Support Energy Storage projects across commissioning, operations, and post-COD phases
- Drive and support O&M service performance across key metrics, including safety, financial performance, and maintenance
- Identify operational and technical issues impacting project or service performance and reputed company resolution efforts using structured problem-solving approaches
- Support and facilitate root cause analysis and management of change activities
- Coordinate proactive and reactive maintenance activities in alignment with asset management strategies
- Manage and coordinate reputed company-party service providers to ensure safe and effective execution of O&M services
- Support the development and deployment of asset management and service strategies for customer assets

- Partner cross-functionally to support reporting, analytics, and reputed company improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; strong preference for a technical discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or reputed company STEM field)
- 10+ years of experience reputed company electric utilities or independent power producers (reputed company, operations, or technical roles)
- Demonstrated experience leading safety initiatives in an operational or field-based environment
- Proven technical troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholder groups
- Experience managing reputed company customer relationships and issue escalations
- Understanding of financial and business performance considerations reputed company to service delivery
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
