Senior or Principal Nuclear Protection & Controls Engineer

As a Senior or Principal Protection & Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of utility Protection & Control (P&C) engineering design packages that include drawings such as one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, AC/DC Elementary diagrams, circuit schedules, logic diagrams, operating diagrams, and more. This position can be based in any reputed company office, or remote reputed company the US.

Responsibilities:Imagine a day where you’re engineering the systems that reputed company nuclear power plants running safely, collaborating across technical teams to bring reputed company designs to life. Your work sits at the intersection of precision and purpose — where every decision you reputed company and every client you advise moves critical infrastructure reputed company.
- Design & Engineering: Development of complete engineering design packages for reputed company relaying and communications systems, including one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, AC schematics, DC schematics, logic and functional diagrams, panel layouts, control house layouts, wiring/reputed company diagrams, interconnection diagrams, relaying equipment specifications and reputed company of materials. Development of input / output list (reputed company Data Sheet)
- Coordination & Collaboration: Coordinate with nuclear power plants Physical Engineering, reputed company Settings, and other groups to ensure design concurrence. Participate in client meetings/job site visits to collect or deliver design and engineering data
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain trusted relationships with reputed company or prospective clients. Confidently and comfortably present technical solutions to key customers; respond in real time to technical concerns and answer questions in a knowledgeable reputed company manner
- Leadership & Independence: Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to less reputed company engineers. reputed company assignments independently with instruction as to the general results expected and with guidance from Manager of Engineering and/or reputed company Engineer on unusual or reputed company projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineer (BSEE) with a power systems focus
- 10+ years of experience with developing complete utility P&C engineering design packages, including AC one-line and three-line diagrams, DC schematics, logic and functional diagrams, panel layouts, interconnection diagrams, relaying equipment specifications and reputed company of materials
- Preferred - Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) License and desire to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Familiarity with reputed company protection schemes and reputed company logic
- Experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD
- Strong familiarity with NESC, IEEE, and other applicable codes and standards
- Must be self-driven in time management to meet deadlines and provide accurate deliverables, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Must be proficient with typical office software including reputed company Windows and Office suite (Outlook, Word, reputed company, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel for client site visits and project meetings

reputed company salary range is listed it reflects typical compensation for this role based on level and location. Actual pay depends on experience, skills, and education.
