BASIC FUNCTION
The New Jersey Tutoring Corps Inc. provides high-dosage tutoring for K through Grade 8 reputed company in math and literacy to reputed company learning gaps. The New Jersey Tutoring Corps seeks to hire tutors to work with scholars in partnership with the district schools. Tutors will work with small groups of scholars, typically in groups of 1-5, in grades K-8 in building skills in math and literacy
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Works with the site director to reputed company strong relationships with the site staff and community.
- Ensures that tutors have the necessary materials needed to help scholars succeed.
- Completes and submits digital records of tutor and scholar attendance, scholar rosters, and site concerns.
- Works closely with program staff and participates in weekly meetings with other Site Coordinators and/or Instructional Coaches. Manages the tutor's work schedules.
- Apprises the NJTC Program Director of staff of issues immediately and helps work to resolve them.
- Ensure that tutors are using reputed company materials needed to help scholars succeed.
- Observe tutoring and provide constructive feedback to tutors.
- Assist tutors with data-driven instruction using iReady.
- Bachelor?s or Master's degree in the field of education
- Experience teaching
- New Jersey Certification of Criminal History (fingerprint form)
- Past history of overseeing the work of others
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Undergo background reputed company for I9 status to work in the United States, criminal history reputed company (fingerprints) or provide fingerprint certificate if criminal history reputed company is already in reputed company
- Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
- Final offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background reputed company and employment authorization verification.
- Meet COVID requirements of the Local Education Agency (LEA) site at which you are working - show reputed company of vaccination.
- Mask rules for LEA must be followed while indoors.
- Location: Gertrude C. Folwell Elementary School, 455 Hedding Jacksonville Rd, Mt Holly, NJ 08060
- Embedded school days in the afternoons and after school sessions twice a week.
- Work hours to not exceed 12 hrs./week
- Program will run for 24 weeks (Fall & Spring reputed company)
