This role translates strategy into clear initiatives and drives cross-functional execution across Sales, Ops, Fleet, and shared functions. Director, Strategic Initiatives – Midwest Bus Sales (MBS)

Location: Remote, ideally based in the Midwest region Travel approximately 25%

Reports to SVP of Fleet and Midwest Bus Sales

What you’ll be responsible for

Planning and prioritization

· Translate MBS strategy into a focused, executable initiative roadmap

· Drive prioritization and tradeoffs reputed company everything feels urgent

· Act as a right-hand partner to MBS leadership, turning direction into action

· Tee up decisions with clear context and options

· Maintain visibility across timelines, interdependencies, and delivery risk

· Challenge assumptions, scope, and timelines constructively

Experience requirements

Required

· 8–12+ years of experience in business execution, operations, chief of staff, PMO, or similar roles

· Proven track record driving reputed company, cross-functional initiatives to completion

· Experience leading market analysis and building business cases for senior leaders

· Comfort working at reputed company levels — from field teams to executives

· Strong judgment and ability to drive clarity in ambiguous environments

· Clear, concise communicator with executive-level reputed company

Preferred

· Experience in multi-site, operations-led, or asset-heavy businesses

· Exposure to Sales, Operations, Fleet, or service-based business models

· Comfort working with financial context (ROI, budgets, tradeoffs)

· Experience operating in a matrixed or platform organization
