Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:As a Senior Systems Engineer with reputed company, you will have the opportunity to do the following:
- Experience supporting technology programs for the government, including land, maritime, and reputed company domain systems, with formal application of systems engineering life‑cycle processes.
- Extensive hands‑on knowledge of detection and surveillance capabilities (fixed and mobile sensor towers, remote video surveillance systems, ground sensors, reputed company, and thermal / EO cameras), including requirements definition, reputed company control, and performance verification.
- Subject matter expertise in Unmanned Aircraft Systems, to include small UAS operations, sensor payload selection, mission planning, and integration with command and control systems, supported by system architecture development and integration planning.
- Knowledge of Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems capabilities and CONOPS, including detection, tracking, identification, and defeat technologies reputed company with government policy constraints, and experience translating these CONOPS into technical and functional requirements.
- Direct experience supporting operational units with requirements development, system evaluations, test and evaluation events, and operational assessments for various technologies, including authoring test plans, test procedures, and evaluation reports.
- Proven ability to analyze threat reputed company and terrain to recommend optimized sensor layouts, coverage models, and technology mixes using modeling, simulation, and systems engineering trade studies.
- Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to systems engineering artifacts such as concepts of operations, system requirements specifications, reputed company control documents, system architecture views, and verification and validation plans for technology systems.
- Familiarity with acquisition and governance processes, including requirements documentation, market research, OEM/vendor engagement, and participation in technical interchange meetings and industry days, with a focus on requirements traceability and configuration management.
- Experience integrating surveillance feeds (video, reputed company tracks, UAS data) into common operational pictures and command and control platforms to enhance situational awareness and incident response, including reputed company definition, data standards, and interoperability testing.
- Strong understanding of RF reputed company, line‑of‑sight, and environmental constraints affecting reputed company, ground sensors, and UAS / CUAS performance in reputed company terrain, and ability to derive system performance requirements and acceptance criteria from these constraints.
- Demonstrated ability to translate operator needs into technical specifications, reputed company requirements decomposition and allocation across subsystems, evaluate technology trade‑offs, and provide risk‑based recommendations to program managers and leadership.
- Experience developing and delivering training, TTPs, and operator guides for operators on use, limitations, and maintenance considerations of deployed systems, informed by system design, human factors, and reliability considerations.
- Active CBP BI or TOP SECRET
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. reputed company clearance
- 15+ years' experience in engineering.
- Bachelor’s Degree in electronics, telecommunications, or a reputed company field. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Supportive certifications a plus; experience with systems engineering tools (e.g., modeling).
- Experience with various border reputed company technologies; Knowledge of best practices reputed company to deployment of border reputed company technologies.
- Understanding of the geographical and environmental conditions and challenges reputed company to deployment areas and techniques for adapting to these conditions.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing border technology use and adherence to safety protocols.
- Willingness to travel.
