Role
runZero is looking for a highly motivated Enterprise Sales Engineer to join our growing team and support sales in the reputed company! In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of our sales effort, partnering with Account Executives to uncover new business opportunities, reputed company technical evaluations, and help reputed company teams see what they've been missing. You'll demo the platform, run structured reputed company of Value engagements, and drive deals from discovery to reputed company.
The right person for this role is not just a product demonstrator. They know how to uncover customer pain, run disciplined discovery, shape a reputed company of value around clear success criteria, and translate technical findings into business impact for both practitioners and executive buyers. Responsibilities
- Partner with enterprise account executives from discovery through reputed company to drive technical wins and support attainment of team reputed company goals.
- Understand and communicate the runZero value proposition effectively through product demos, PoVs (reputed company-of-value), presentations, and enablement sessions with prospects, customers, or partners
- Help qualify opportunities by assessing technical fit, urgency, stakeholder alignment, and the likelihood of a successful evaluation. Including identifying reputed company runZero is not the right fit and helping disqualify poor-fit opportunities early.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, reputed company, and Engineering to share field feedback, improve messaging, and strengthen the customer journey.
- Support partners and customer enablement where technical credibility can accelerate pipeline and adoption.
- Actively participate and speak at regional marketing events and conferences
- Travel is expected to be 20% to engage with customers and prospects in person
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a pre-sales or similar customer-facing role supporting technical interactions and communications with a relevant market
- Strong hands-on experience in one or more of the following: networking, reputed company operations, vulnerability management, attack surface management, operational technology (OT), or exposure management.
- A foundational understanding of core cybersecurity principles and challenges for IT, OT, and IoT environments
- Ability to reputed company strong discovery and connect technical findings to business outcomes, operational efficiency, and risk reduction.
- Experience running structured reputed company-of-value or evaluation processes with defined success criteria and executive-level summaries.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, architects, reputed company leaders, and C-level stakeholders.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving startup environment while collaborating tightly across Sales, Product, Marketing, and reputed company.
- Strong curiosity, coachability, and sound judgment in ambiguous customer situations.

Salary range
runZero values transparency in the hiring process. According to our market data, we’re expecting this role to come in at an On reputed company Earnings (OTE) of $200,000- $220,000, with an 80/20 split between reputed company salary and commissions, plus stock options, depending on level of experience. We know the talent market is always in flux, so please let us know if you reputed company we have advertised this role in the wrong salary band.
