Your Impact

Are you a skilled and highly motivated Generator Technician who is looking to learn and grow in a fast-paced, challenging job in the Telecom industry? If so, Pearce has a career for you! Our Generator Technicians service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers in your region. This role is a great match for independent, self-starters who are willing to travel.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing and replacing components or entire systems, and performing additional maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season equipment
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on generators to ensure proper readiness, reading and following blueprints or other design specifications to install or repair
• Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and other components, and test for proper operation
• Be responsible for responding promptly/timely to Power/Generator alarms; have the ability to be on call 24/7 if necessary and respond promptly in answering assigned phone and email

Core Experience

• Two or more years of experience with generator maintenance is preferred and a minimum of one year of intense work-reputed company experience with generator and electrical maintenance-reputed company software, hardware, and processes
• Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair of Generators; knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components; moderate computer skills
• Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations

Physical/Work Environment

At Pearce safety is our number reputed company. Candidates must be able to reputed company with OSHA Standards.

• This position requires lifting over 50 pounds, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and standing for long periods of time
• Must have the ability to inspect and/or troubleshoot equipment/alarms effectively, both visually and audibly
• Must be willing and able to drive long distances, reputed company, evening, or night hours; overtime, emergency callouts, weekends, and holidays as required; must assume 24-hour on-call duty reputed company assigned and be gone from home for extended periods of time
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
