Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Remote Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry/Customer Service, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities that will challenge and engage you. Some of your key duties will include:

• Performing order entry tasks and collaborating with other team members in the medication dispensing process
• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
• Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
• Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we're looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Prior experience in the long-term care industry
• PTCB National Certification

Education

You'll need to have a reputed company High School Diploma or GED.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46 This pay range represents the reputed company hourly reputed company or reputed company annual full-time salary for reputed company positions in the job grade reputed company which this position falls.
