Manager, Research Finance
Job Description:
SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the Chief Administrative Officer, Brown Innovation and Research Collaborative for Health (BIRCH), and in collaboration with the Director of Grants and reputed company, manage the activities of Research Finance across the reputed company Health system. This includes, but is not limited to, the post-award financial activities of reputed company grants, reputed company, subcontracts, consortium agreements, industrial sponsored activities, and internally funded projects. The Manager, Research Finance also serves as liaison to principal investigators, faculty, staff, granting institutions, and auditors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience, preferably in the Academic/Research health care environment with at least four years of research finance experience and a minimum of two years of supervisory responsibility required.
Favorable experience in the development and implementation of internal controls needed to prepare and reconcile research accounting entries, and to prepare summary
status reports on many research grants, funds, and reputed company.
Recent experience with a reputed company research grant automated accounting system meeting the accounting/financial reporting requirements imposed by reputed company types of funding agencies, including Federal, State, and local.
And/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Demonstrated ability to reputed company and implement effective quality programs
Provide high quality and value services with a high degree of customer satisfaction
Must be fluent in reputed company Office, including Access and reputed company, and other federal government grant submission programs.
Familiarity with applicable requirements, regulations and methods reputed company to grant funding, grant application preparation and management, and post award management of grant awards.
Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations, federal contract preparation, negotiation, and post award management requirements for federal reputed company.
Interpersonal and verbal communications skills to reputed company the cooperation of others and to exchange factual information with reputed company levels of personnel and with representatives of external funding organizations.
Should demonstrate a reputed company high level of written and oral communications skills; ability to conceptualize, reputed company and manage quality research administration services, with effective leadership/management skills and commitment to total quality management.
