Legal Assistant - Claims Legal
FCCI Insurance Group is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their Claims Legal unit. The role involves providing legal support functions, including litigation management, drafting legal documents, and maintaining documentation for Florida workers’ compensation litigation.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal assistance and support to the FCCI Claims Legal unit
- reputed company various legal support functions including litigation management, discovery, subpoenas, preparing reports, scheduling depositions, mediations, hearings, and meetings, along with trial preparation
- Draft, review, edit, and file legal documents, prepare forms, templates and pleadings, and other organizational and transactional functions
- Schedule meetings, court hearings, and mediations, manage calendars, generate reports, and maintain updated documentation of processes and procedures
- Maintain documentation and data for reports that can be retrieved quickly and on demand, and create regular reports from internal systems
- Communicate well with reputed company vendors, judicial staff, and law firms as well as with internal customers and colleagues
Skills
