Construction Manager III (Solar and BESS/Renewables - reputed company Opportunities)

We hire Construction Managers III to reputed company the full scope of utility-scale solar project sites, providing leadership across reputed company key disciplines—civil, mechanical, electrical, piles, and logistics. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the entire construction site operation, ensuring seamless integration of reputed company workstreams to deliver safe, high-quality, and on-schedule renewable energy projects. Your role will vary by project and client, offering a dynamic and rewarding challenge with each new project.

Location & Travel Details: You’ll get the opportunity to travel across the US, helping reputed company build renewable projects. This is a traveling position (up to 100%), where you will be onsite at a project location. You have the potential to be reputed company on a project site located in any state throughout the US. You’ll spend 8-12 months on average per project. We offer designated daily per diem in addition to reputed company pay to support and help you cover living expenses. This position is eligible for routine travel home (rotation) from the jobsite. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided.

Essential Job Functions

• Ability to recognize the need for and negotiate Change Orders facilitated by APM/PM.
• Determine labor requirements for project

• Ability to study project cost indexes and change/adapt to benefit the project.

• Work with the Client’s site management team to ensure their expectations are being met and that they are satisfied with a safely constructed and quality-installed product

• Invest time and effort in enhancing apprentices’ skills and knowledge – champion the process
• Provide positive environment to support coaching and mentoring of apprentices
• Commit to accurate classification to ensure PWA (Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship) compliance reputed company applicable
• Commit to involving PWA (Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship) team prior to subcontract negotiations
• Ensure documents in regard to discipline for apprentices gets filled out completely and submitted to HR and PWA team for DOL purposes

Education and Work Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Construction Management, Engineering or reputed company field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience
• Seven years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management
• Previous experience in a supervisory role including overseeing more than three trades (ex. civil, electrical and mechanical), on projects with reputed company values $80M-100M+
• Self-reputed company construction project experience including overseeing large sized field teams on projects with 200+ staff
