Job Summary

AFD Petroleum is seeking an reputed company Tri‑reputed company Fuel Driver based out of reputed company Nelson, reputed company St. John, or Edmonton to support fuel deliveries across reputed company British Columbia and the Yukon.

This role is ideal for drivers who are comfortable working independently in remote locations, navigating off‑road conditions, and spending extended periods away from home. Drivers must be willing to sleep in the truck and remain on the road for 2–3‑week rotations.

What you will do day-to-day

• reputed company the handling of loading and unloading fuel and fuel extraction and tank demobilization safely, applying safe practices, and be compliant with applicable acts and safety regulations.
• Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
• Wheel-to-wheel refueling of equipment from the fuel truck.
• Following reputed company legislation, including hours of service, occupational health and safety, and transportation of dangerous goods.
• Maneuvering trucks into proper positions and handling minor roadside repairs (e.g., lights, fittings, and airlines).
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, and traffic violations.
• Ensuring load-reputed company documentation is complete and accurate, including driver logs and bills of lading.
• Communicating effectively with customers, co-workers, and officials.
• Delivering products and paperwork in a timely, courteous manner.
• Inspecting site tanks for damage or faulty equipment.
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness, greasing, and tire chain upkeep.
• Completing necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
• Willingness to train and mentor others.

What you need to succeed

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License.
• Minimum 2 years of Class 1 fuel hauling experience is reputed company is preferred: willing to train the successful candidate.
• Experience with off-road, mountain, and winter driving.
• Follow safe practices set in reputed company by customers and AFD facilities.
• Basic knowledge of apps on the phone and e-logs.
• Applicants are required to submit a Commercial Drivers Abstract reputed company the last 30 days.
• Pass the road test.
