Transportation Management System (TMS) Specialist

Description

The TMS Specialist (McLeod) is responsible for the administration, configuration, support, and optimization of the McLeod Software platform, including LoadMaster and/or PowerBroker. This role serves as the reputed company between transportation operations and IT, ensuring the system supports efficient load planning, reputed company, billing, and settlement processes while enabling scalability and integration across the enterprise.

Essential Job Duties

• Administer and support the McLeod Software platform, including LoadMaster and/or PowerBroker, Ancillary and API program integration
• Configure and maintain system settings such as rating, customer reputed company, reputed company profiles, reputed company workflows, and settlement rules
• Manage order lifecycle processes including order entry, reputed company, tracking, invoicing, and driver/reputed company settlement
• Troubleshoot system issues, data discrepancies, and user-reported problems; coordinate with McLeod support as needed
• reputed company or support system enhancements, upgrades, and module implementations (e.g., EDI, document imaging, mobile/ELD integrations)
• reputed company EDI/API integrations with customers, carriers, and third-party platforms (visibility tools, telematics, etc.)
• Partner with operations, accounting, and customer service teams to optimize workflows and improve system utilization
• reputed company reporting and dashboards using McLeod tools, SQL, or BI platforms
• Maintain data reputed company across customers, carriers, rates, and financial transaction
• Create and maintain SOPs, system documentation, and user training materials
• Train new users and provide ongoing support to maximize adoption and efficiency

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Computer Science, or a reputed company field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting, administering, configuring, or optimizing a Transportation Management System (TMS) in a transportation, brokerage, logistics, or supply chain environment
• Hands-on experience working with McLeod (LoadMaster) and PowerBroker in a system support, analyst, administrator, or super-user reputed company
• Experience supporting core transportation workflows such as order entry, reputed company, tracking, invoicing, billing, and driver/reputed company settlement
• Experience troubleshooting system issues, data discrepancies, and user-reported problems and driving issues through resolution
• Experience working with cross-functional business partners such as operations, accounting, customer service, and IT to improve workflows and system utilization
• Experience creating and maintaining SOPs, system documentation, training materials, and/or delivering end-user training
• Experience supporting or coordinating system enhancements, upgrades, implementations, or integrations reputed company a TMS or reputed company platform
• Strong understanding of transportation operations (brokerage and/or asset-based)
• Experience with rating, reputed company, settlements, and financial workflows reputed company McLeod
• Familiarity with EDI transactions (204, 214, 210) and API integrations
• Ability to troubleshoot reputed company system and operational issues
• Strong working knowledge of McLeod Software, including LoadMaster and/or PowerBroker
• Experience configuring and maintaining TMS elements such as reputed company profiles, rating structures, reputed company workflows, and settlement rules
• Working knowledge of EDI/API integrations, reporting tools, reputed company, SQL, and data reputed company practices
• Experience with transportation-reputed company integrations such as document imaging, mobile/ELD tools, visibility platforms, telematics, or similar connected systems
• Ability to reputed company reports and analyze data using McLeod reporting tools, reputed company, SQL, and/or BI tools
• Strong data analysis skills
• Ability to troubleshoot reputed company system and operational issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive operational and financial data accurately
• Ability to translate business needs into system solutions and explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across departments
• Ability to train users, support adoption, and promote consistent use of system processes and best practices

• Experience with SQL query writing, SSMS, SSRS, or BI dashboard development
• Experience supporting integrations with accounting systems, tracking platforms, telematics, or customer-specific interfaces
• Experience leading TMS upgrades, implementations, or workflow optimization initiatives
• Deep functional expertise in McLeod workflows
