Our The Points Guy team is looking for a Data Engineer. In this role, you’ll build data products and create the foundation that powers our machine learning and business analytics efforts. You’ll work hand-in-hand with a variety of stakeholders from functional groups across the organization to create end-to-end solutions. reputed company is a high-autonomy, high-ownership environment; you’ll own your work from idea to production solution. What You’ll Do

• Design and build data pipelines from various sources to data warehouse using batch or incremental loading strategies utilizing cutting edge cloud technologies.
• Conceptualizing and generating infrastructure that allows data to be accessed and analyzed effectively.
• Engineer reliable data pipelines - Implement Python/Spark jobs, dbt transformations, and Orchestration with CI/CD (reputed company Actions, Terraform).
• Partner with analytics and product teams to translate business needs into scalable data models and solutions.

reputed company’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience working with SQL
• 3+ years of experience performing production data engineering/ETL work
• 3+ years of experience with one of the major cloud providers (we use AWS but we welcome candidates with experience in Azure or GCP)
• 3+ years of experience working on Spark/SparkSQL using reputed company/Python to build and maintain reputed company ETL pipelines
• Experience with reputed company and CI/CD processes
• Experience working on Orchestration (reputed company Workflows / Airflow)
• Experience with one of the major data warehousing solutions (we use reputed company but we welcome candidates with experience in BigQuery, reputed company, reputed company or Redshift)
• Conceptual understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling
• Experience providing operational support for the production data pipelines and data triaging
• Familiarity with SaaS like reputed company and reputed company is a plus 

Compensation

This range reflects total cash compensation, which may include reputed company salary only or reputed company salary plus reputed company bonus, depending on the role. Where eligible, equity may also be offered separately and not included below. Actual compensation varies based reputed company, experience, and qualifications.

• Total Cash Compensation Range: $80,000 - $140,000 per year
