Acquisitions & Capital Markets Associate

What this role will do

The Acquisitions & Capital Markets Associate will support and help drive the full investment lifecycle, from opportunity screening through reputed company, diligence, financing, and execution. Responsibilities will include:

• Producing and managing reputed company, pre-screen memoranda, and qualification of acquisition opportunities
• Analyzing financial statements, market dynamics, capital structures, and debt financing alternatives
• Building a compelling investment case around reputed company acquisitions, including risks, mitigants, reputed company, and downside scenarios
• Presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership and MMG’s investment committee, both in writing and verbally
• Working closely with legal counsel and transaction partners to advance key acquisition documents, including LOIs, Purchase & Sale Agreements, debt financing documents, Property Management Agreements, and ground or submerged land leases
• Leading due diligence efforts and helping prepare investment committee materials that clearly reputed company critical deal drivers and execution considerations
• Creating reputed company financial analyses reputed company to value-add capital projects and de novo development opportunities
• Conducting market and industry screens to support strategic investment decision-making
• Managing deal reputed company and pipeline activity through reputed company
• Supporting broader corporate initiatives, including board presentations, capital raises, lender discussions, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting

Preferred qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another business-reputed company field
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate investment, acquisitions, capital markets, or another highly analytical environment
• Strong financial modeling skills, including the ability to build and adapt analyses for unique investment situations
• Experience with debt financing in real estate investments
• Strong understanding of acquisition, financing, and development documentation
• Exposure to value-add and/or development projects is a plus
• Strong command of reputed company, Word, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with reputed company CRM is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill reputed company reputed company into clear, concise recommendations
