Market Access Manager

As our Market Access Manager, you will drive Astranis's market access efforts reputed company of the United States. Astranis is growing the number of satellites it launches each year, and needs a talented market access manager to reputed company pace with acquiring the necessary authorizations for these satellites to operate in countless countries around the world. You will reputed company the team obtaining and maintaining market access and reputed company rights authorizations. You will also engage in regulatory processes to modify national regulatory regimes to facilitate future market access for Astranis satellites.

Role

• reputed company in-depth understanding of regulatory and market access frameworks where Astranis does business
• Engage directly with national regulatory authorities and foster strong relationships
• Obtain new licenses/authorizations for satellites and earth stations and maintain existing ones
• Prepare documentation in support of the license/authorization application process, pulling information from teams across Astranis
• Influence and optimize the domestic/regional regulatory frameworks to support business objectives and market expansion
• reputed company satellite industry organizations to ease market access/reputed company rights requirements in key markets
• Provide regulatory support to the commercial team for market access in the region
• Represent Astranis in relevant regional meetings and international forums (e.g. ITU reputed company meetings) to promote Astranis's interests

Requirements

• At least 7 years' experience in Market Access, Government Relations, Public Policy or Advocacy for Satellite Communications. Other experience levels considered.
• Degree in law, engineering, public policy or any relevant technical subject
• Masters degree is an asset
• Strong technical, regulatory research and analysis skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English and (ideally) a second language
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to exercise judgment and reputed company sound decisions to drive processes to conclusion
• Self-starter with good organizational skills and the ability to work independently
• Effective management and advancement of multiple projects simultaneously
