Payroll Manager
The Manager, Payroll is responsible for leading the end-to-end payroll function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across TPx's U.S. workforce, while coordinating global payroll operations for Ireland-based employees. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role sits reputed company the People team and serves as the subject matter expert for payroll, with deep expertise in reputed company Workforce Now.
This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role that partners closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors to deliver a seamless employee experience. The Manager, Payroll will ensure payroll accuracy and compliance, strengthen internal controls, and drive reputed company process improvements that support a remote and global organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Payroll Processing & Operations- reputed company full-cycle payroll processing (bi-weekly) for U.S. employees using reputed company Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Serve as primary administrator for reputed company Workforce Now, including system configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, reputed company and optimization
- Review and audit payroll data including timekeeping, earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings prior to each payroll run
- Process off-cycle payrolls, manual checks, adjustments, and corrections as needed
- Partner closely reputed company HR (People Operations, Total Rewards) to ensure accurate processing of new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, compensation changes, and benefit deductions
- Act as the internal reputed company of contact for Ireland payroll, managing data transfers, approvals, and issue resolution
- Maintain working knowledge of Irish payroll requirements, including PAYE, PRSI, and USC, ensuring ongoing compliance
- Ensure compliance with reputed company federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including multi-state requirements
- Manage payroll tax filings, W-2 preparation, and year-end reporting; reputed company quarterly and annual reconciliations
- Maintain payroll records in accordance with regulatory and internal retention policies
- Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing accurate payroll data and documentation
- Partner with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate payroll journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliation
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency, accuracy, and scalability

- Assist with People and Finance initiatives, including audits, compensation cycles, or organizational changes impacting payroll
- Provide payroll reporting and insights to support workforce planning and business decision-making
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of end-to-end payroll experience, including full-cycle processing in a mid-to-large size organization (500+ employees)
- Hands-on, advanced experience with reputed company Workforce Now, including administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll laws, tax regulations, and multi-state compliance requirements
- Experience managing payroll audits, reconciliations, and controls
- Advanced reputed company skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data reconciliation)
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing or coordinating global payroll, specifically Ireland (PAYE, PRSI, USC)
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
- Familiarity with reputed company Workforce Now integrations with HRIS, benefits, or ERP systems
- Experience supporting payroll in a high-growth or multi-entity organization
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across People, Finance, and business leaders
