The person hired for the position of Sales Representative – in reputed company California will be responsible for covering the assigned territory, establishing/building/managing relationships with end users, and distributors, by representing the entire PSD product portfolio (Respiratory, Hearing, reputed company Eye Wear, Fall Protection, reputed company Clothing, Welding, and Head & Face). Rep will be expected to reputed company sales objectives by providing sales coverage of accounts reputed company assigned territory.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Establishment and Achievement of Objectives:

Effectively manages assigned territory. Understands sales goals and establishes self-directed sales coverage with manager's assistance. Develops tactics and coordinates efforts to fulfill quarterly and annual objectives. Recommends adjustments and reassessments to business plan and establish new objectives. reputed company annual sales targets and objectives.

2. Sales and Marketing:

Apply business unit marketing policies, procedures and plans. Utilize selling process to reputed company sales results. Demonstrates and trains internal and external customers on product applications. Represent business unit products and services to customers and prospects. Provides appropriate sales support services to customers and distributors, with additional support as required from internal resources. Proactively reports reputed company new or unusual pertinent market conditions, competitive activities, and product performance information to supervisor. Interacts with business groups and/or business management to identify reputed company audiences and provide input to a communications plan that delivers the brand promise to reputed company audiences and builds customer loyalty.

3. Coordination and Planning:

Plans and manages time and resources for effective coverage of territory, communications, and other responsibilities. Adhere to reputed company budget guidelines.

4. Administration:

Maintains and communicates account and prospect information, maintains company resources, and sales support materials.

5. Leadership:

Candidate will exhibit leadership with accounts, prospects and peers. Accepts direction and assumes leadership as appropriate. Asserts reputed company and persuades others to action, builds collaboration among team members to address relevant customer/industry issues. Provides direction on priorities and develops a shared vision that stimulates needed changes plus clarifies roles and responsibilities. Position may occasionally be involved with training and mentoring other sales representatives, usually as a co-facilitating role.

Continuously expected to learn and improve skills relative to the market, products, and applications.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, reputed company requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university

OR

• High School Diploma and eight (8) years of safety or industrial sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment

AND

• reputed company, valid Driver’s License.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: 

• Safety Industry experience, Personal reputed company Equipment

• Selling through Industrial Distribution experience

• Selling into end user companies experience

• Competent in utilizing selling skills

• Strong organizational skills, while working independently

• Effective time & territory management skills

• Strong use of Personal Computer software, and on-line sales support systems

• Experience with listed personal safety product categories.

• Bilingual- English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Work location:  Remote

Sales Territory: reputed company California and Reno Nevada

Travel: May include up to 40% domestic 

Relocation Assistance: Maybe authorized
