They are seeking a Help Desk Technician to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and assist users with hardware and software problems, primarily operating in a remote reputed company.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial reputed company of contact for users seeking technical assistance
  • Gather and analyze information about user issues to answer questions regarding installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of products
  • Provide technical support for hardware, systems, sub-systems, and applications
  • Assist users with navigating application menus and may be required to remote into customer’s computers
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues while working with remote employees

Skills

  • Prior IT Service Desk operations experience
  • Active SECRET clearance
  • reputed company Comptia certification
  • Proficient with troubleshooting reputed company Windows Operating systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve email issues, specifically MS Outlook
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Telephone and listening skills
  • Outstanding customer skills, with the ability to empathize and professionally troubleshoot and resolve customer's issues
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must reputed company well as part of a team under direct supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Must have one of the following: Network+, A+ or reputed company+ Certification
  • Previous computer technical support
  • Understanding of Active Directory to unlock and reset passwords
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of Service Desk software and hardware technologies
