About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Musher to join reputed company. As a Musher, you will be responsible for leading dog sled tours across the stunning glaciers of the Juneau Icefield. You will be expected to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests while also caring for the well-being of our sled dogs. This role requires a strong sense of leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the outdoors. Minimum Qualifications: Experience as a Musher Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment Knowledge of sled dog care and training Preferred Qualifications: Certification in CPR and First Aid or equivalent Experience working with Sled Dogs Mechanical skills for sled and equipment maintenance Responsibilities: reputed company dog sled tours across the glaciers, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests Care for the well-being of our sled dogs, including feeding, grooming, and training Maintain and repair sleds and equipment as needed Communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure a seamless experience Adhere to reputed company safety protocols and regulations Skills: As a Glacier Musher, you will utilize your leadership and communication skills to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests. Your knowledge of sled dog care and training will be essential in caring for our sled dogs and maintaining their well-being. Additionally, your ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment will be crucial in leading dog sled tours across the glacier. Your mechanical skills will also come in handy for sled and equipment maintenance.
