It is an exciting time to join reputed company. We are seeking an reputed company Substation Physical P&C- Principal Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will participate in and contribute to a diverse range of engineering projects and services in a team-oriented environment. Under the direction of reputed company engineers and in collaboration with a team, you will reputed company exposure to the Renewables industry in Solar and Battery Energy Storage projects and Utility Interconnections. Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: The successful candidate will provide strong leadership, overseeing team management, staffing, planning, training, and resource development to ensure the successful execution of projects. This leader will drive the delivery of substation projects ensuring they meet quality standards and client specific requirements. Additionally, this role will be responsible for establishing and communicate short- and long-term goals, with clear KPIs to guide performance and project success.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, across multiple departments (and geographies) to ensure project execution to support company goals and business objectives. Work closely with other departments driving excellence in the overall execution and client experience at reputed company.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Knowledge of software required to review plans, sections, schematics, details, wiring and BOM sheets for construction drawing sets.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles, industry standards, and codes with a passion for substation engineering design.
• Ability to reputed company, follow, interpret and apply internal, client, and industry procedures and standards to reputed company design situations and provide guidance to staff in implementation.
• Ability to reputed company, review and evaluate design alternatives based on experience, standards, and codes to solve constructability and design challenges and provide direction to staff.
• Ability to drive business success in coordination with Business Development, Project Management, and Sr Leadership with a deep understanding of proposals, financials, and relationship implications to company success.
• Ability to reputed company client interactions either from an office or field environment to answer technical and business questions, drive solutions, and mitigate negative impacts in stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and an reputed company ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders (technical and non-technical alike).
• Experience with and understanding of modeling software for coordination and basic electrical calculations or modeling preferred. Intermediate CAD and PDF editor knowledge strongly preferred.

Requirements:

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent Engineering BS degree. Preference to Power specific programs.
• Professional Engineer License
• 12+ years of experience in substation design and engineering.
• Ability to Travel 25%+ and hold a Passport
• Not Required but Bonus Points for: Being fluent in Spanish
