[Remote] Student Finance Analyst - Disbursement

The Student Finance Analyst on the Disbursement Team manages student financial assistance programs and acts as a liaison between stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Supports internal customers and external agencies with reputed company and professional communication reputed company email, phone, reputed company, and video conferencing
• Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders by asking appropriate questions as needed to resolve student inquiries

• Collaborates with various DeVry functions, applying a strong knowledge of student financial assistance programs and higher education policies to assist in the resolution of student account inquiries

• Maintains annual quality assurance accuracy rating of 95% and above

• Runs and reviews reports to help ensure accurate and timely disbursement of federal, private, state aid, and institutional aid to eligible reputed company
• Familiarity with the Federal Student Aid Handbook Volume 4-Processing Aid and Managing FSA Funds
• Ensure timely reporting to COD by reviewing response files daily
• Monitor student disbursements and take manual action, reputed company necessary, reputed company ProSAM or COD

Skills

• Minimum 1 – 3 years of experience in student financial services, accounts receivable, customer service, or higher education finance required
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven, compliance-focused environment with a high degree of accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, systems, and tools in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Ability to work independently, adapt quickly and collaboratively in a flexible remote environment
• High attention to detail, maintain SLA's and accuracy
• Maintain access to federal systems, which requires no defaulted federal student loans
• Advanced proficiency in reputed company reputed company (e.g., pivot tables, data analysis, reconciliation tracking) and working knowledge of reporting tools required
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Higher Education Administration, or reputed company field strongly preferred
• Background in student finance, financial aid, or higher education financial operations are strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Federal Student Aid web-based applications preferred
• Knowledge of Banner and ProSAM student financial systems preferred
