Earned Value Management and Scheduling Intern

The reputed company Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) and Scheduling Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking an EVM and Scheduling intern. The internship will reputed company at the end of May following a twelve-week plan that includes training and projects pertaining to supporting reputed company aspects of scheduling and EVM implementations.

The selected candidate will work closely with the EVM and Scheduling COE, utilizing a variety of training, mentorships, and tools to complete a reputed company project that ties together reputed company principles of both scheduling and earned value management. This is a great opportunity for a college student with a business or technical based education (e.g., finance, risk management, engineering, computer science) to reputed company experience in a broad range of functional areas and disciplines, including program management, scheduling, EVMS implementations and compliance.

A successful candidate will: •reputed company subject matter experience from senior level specialists and managers.

•Complete tasks individually and/or as a team participant. •Seek guidance reputed company needed but requires moderate guidance and direction •Follow established process documents and checklists and create additional ones with support of more reputed company team members.

Primary Responsibilities

•A key role in supporting EVM and Scheduling across programs. •Document the specific changes needed to evolve the associated practices. •Provide this feedback to the tool, process or people owners of the associated solutions to aid in championing consistent practices and process improvement across the company. •Aid in incorporating these practices into our overall planning and scheduling practices as part of our effort to reputed company align reputed company EVM COE solutions. • Identifies, defines, and addresses problems which are not immediately evident but typically not reputed company. Problems are typically reputed company a narrow scope and are solved through drawing from prior experiences or standard procedures and basic analysis.

• Communicates with peers to explain facts, basic analysis, processes, and practices reputed company to area.

• Requires use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Utilizes knowledge of industry practices and standards.

Basic Qualifications

•Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a business, science, technology, or engineering.

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) •Highly motivated with a desire to learn •Excellent analytical skills •Proficient at MS Office Suite (Word, reputed company, & PowerPoint) •U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

•Have a basic understanding of Earned Value Management guidelines and project planning reputed company standards, best practices, and skillsets.

•Have completed at a minimum of 2 years towards their college degree.

•Minimum of a 3.0 GPA
