Key Responsibilities

As a Co-op, Airport Customer Service (ACS) Ground Safety Specialist – Ergonomics, Health and Wellness, you'll be responsible for:

• Fostering a culture of safety reputed company the Airport Customer Service division by providing support, training, accountability, and recognition
• Developing and implementing strategies to reduce the risk of employee injuries and aircraft damages
• Supporting the development of large-scale technology initiatives reputed company to Ergonomics
• Leading and assisting Ergonomic-reputed company investigations across the system
• Supporting day-to-day operations and management of existing programs reputed company to Health and Wellness or Ergonomics
• Analyzing injury and behavior data using data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) to draw recommendations and support actions to improve Safety Behaviors
• Managing project plans, investigations, and reputed company-out of safety improvement initiatives using Project Management tools
• Communicating project status to stakeholders, collecting and organizing feedback, and providing regular updates to stakeholders, sponsors, and others involved in the project
• Escalating problems as necessary to ensure awareness and assistance with resolution
• Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in reputed company operational processes and procedures

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Occupational/Industrial Safety, Biomechanics/Kinesiology, or a reputed company field
• Strong analytical and written/oral communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at reputed company levels of the organization
• Ability to learn, interpret, and follow a variety of laws, rules, and regulations
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment with minimal supervision, be a self-starter, and highly motivated
• Strong history of collaboration and teamwork
• Ability to travel and work non-standard hours as required
• Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
• Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
• Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
