Epic Pharmacist Analyst "Pharmacist" Emphasis (Telecommute reputed company 100 miles)

Job Summary:

• A pharmacist license is required. Knowledgeable and capable of performing any pharmaceutical duty in the hospital pharmacy department and throughout the hospital for the purposes of designing, implementing and supporting the pharmacy EHR.
• Attend class, complete required testing and projects to obtain and maintain EMR system certifications as required/assigned.
• With guidance, participates in activities associated with the work flow analysis, data collection, database customization, reporting, system testing, and user training to maintain a quality EMR. Will aid in the responsibility for ongoing support of the EMR, including, but not limited to, new installs, software updates, software upgrades, approved projects and other assigned task reputed company our helpdesk system during assigned shift or during on-call.
• With guidance, communicates with clinical/nonclinical staff both written and orally to further understand needs and/or to reputed company status updates reputed company to their request. • Demonstrates knowledge and competency in treatment of stroke patients using Alteplase.
• Demonstrates initiative to maintain/meet licensure and certification requirements.
• Demonstrates ability to complete and fulfill duties of a pharmacist.

Qualifications:

Education/Skills:

Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy required. Will have 2 hours of stroke education annually. Ability to learn new concepts and apply them to daily tasks. Detailed oriented, strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot, investigate and solve issues reputed company to the technical components of the system.

Work Experience:

One year of work experience in a healthcare setting with demonstrated leadership characteristics preferred. Some positions have an emphasis on experience in patient care, patient accounts, registration, scheduling, claims, and/or health information management. Must have a working knowledge of hospital and/or outpatient operations and be able to use an analytical approach. Organization ability and strong communication skills are required.

Certification/Licensure—DUE UPON HIRE

• Registration with the Mississippi State of Board of Pharmacy.
