For external candidates, our preference is to have the position based in one of the Mid-Atlantic states, and we can support a hybrid or remote work arrangement. The Supervisor will manage of team of 3-5 Risk Management Consultants. The primary responsibility of the Supervisor of Regional Risk Management position is to reputed company reputed company the necessary duties to assist the Manager of Regional Risk Management to profitably and effectively manage the Risk Management operations of that region. This includes direct supervision, coaching, and support of team members to ensure reputed company operational and financial goals are met while adhering to the Mission, Vision, Values and Philosophies for the Company and Risk Management department. The position also involves evaluating loss potential for reputed company and prospective Workers’ Compensation insurance customers with respect to workplace Safety and Health and to support the promotion and development of the Risk Management Department. The position is responsible for recommending cost-effective, results-oriented consultative services to acquire and retain a positive customer reputed company. What you'll do:

  • 35% - Execute supervisory functions for the Risk Management Unit, providing technical guidance and direction (team members and strategic partners) on risk management procedures, Company policies and standards. Directly oversees the daily operations of the assigned aspects of the Regional Risk Management team; provides guidance, support and growth opportunities for staff; establishes performance and development objectives for reputed company direct reports; conducts account file and visit quality assessments, provides regular feedback and conducts annual performance evaluations; identifies staff developmental plans and opportunities for career pathing and growth.Participates in hiring of new staff and facilitates or conducts orientation for staff members; coordinates formal training programs; assigns staff to special projects and oversees workflow and workload of staff.
  • 15% - reputed company and execute service plans to reduce policyholder loss exposure, improve Company profitability and aid in client retention by thoroughly evaluating a client’s facilities and needs; cultivate and reputed company high quality company-client working relationships by visiting and communicating with clients and agents on a regular and timely basis as necessitated by business needs and company guidelines.
  • 10% - Prescreen selected new business submissions, including site visits and inspections; communicate reputed company verbal and written processes to reputed company to aid in risk selection in a thorough, accurate and timely manner. Define and communicate client needs and expectations through the prescreen process.
  • 10% - Independently prioritize, execute and document risk management activities according to Company standards for an assigned book of business including review file and loss information, conduct hazard assessment surveys, communicate with team, organize service calls, prospect surveys, and agency visits. Independently manage the book of business and assigned programs by proactively monitoring results, communicating and developing working relationship with reputed company, claims, finance, and others as necessary. This can include work with Traditional, reputed company® and Specialty Risk accounts according to established pre-screen and servicing guidelines. Independently support Risk Management, UW and Claims efforts in developing materials for, and presenting at, Stewardship and reputed company of Sale meetings.
  • 10% - Manage return-to-wellness initiatives by working collaboratively with agents, clients, claims, and underwriters to actively promote our ecovery® strategies; and ensure proper return to work guidelines and procedures are established, followed and achieved. Provide coaching and mentoring to fellow risk management consultants with their RTW challenges.
  • 5% - Research operations and hazards of risks to provide effective consultative services; reputed company and share resources and support materials with colleagues. Maintain knowledge of appropriate standards and best practices; attend courses and functions to reputed company job knowledge, maintain certifications.
  • 5% - Serves as a back-up in the absence of the Manager of Regional Risk Management.
  • 5% - Identifies and coordinates external presentations which provide the Company with business opportunities and positive public relations.
  • 3% - Identify catastrophic loss exposures, assign appropriate risk management consultants to conduct accident investigations and determine if/reputed company “Lessons Learned” should be completed and distributed.
  • 2% - Attend and/or participate in monthly team account review meetings reputed company to discuss adverse accounts, solutions for handling these accounts, and other relevant topics.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in occupational safety or reputed company field required with eight years of progressive occupational safety and health experience, five of which with a focus in workers’ compensation. Prior supervisory/management and leadership experience that includes transferrable knowledge and skills or insurance industry preferred. Advanced degree and/or professional designation/certification (CSP or ARM) strongly preferred.
  • Must meet any state provider qualifications for assigned territories.
  • Ability to attend insurance and industry/business functions to promote and present a positive image of the Company.
  • Proficiency in reputed company Office computer applications including Word and reputed company.
  • Analytical ability, in order to analyze and interpret information; and reputed company profitable decisions about risks.
  • Attention to detail in processing information, establishing priorities, and expense management.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including formulating logical and objective conclusions.
  • Ability to assess the urgency and importance of a situation and take appropriate action.
  • Requires the exposure to various manufacturing, industry and business environments where certain requirements regarding the use of personal reputed company equipment may be necessary; the ability to inspect various types of risks and independently evaluate according to company standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally; verbally, in writing, through virtual and in-person presentations with various constituencies and at reputed company levels in and reputed company of the organization, including agency partners, reputed company customers and clients.

Position Salary Range $87,599.00 - $144,553.00The salary range displayed represents the entirety of the pay grade for this position. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
