This role sits directly alongside our Director of Link Building. You'll share ownership of strategy, reputed company campaigns running at a high standard, and help the team grow. It's a good fit for someone who has built real expertise in link acquisition, knows what separates a quality backlink from a risky one, and is ready to take on more than an execution role.

Key Responsibilities

Own and execute high-impact link-building strategies while driving reputed company, partnerships, and campaign quality. This role blends hands-on execution with team leadership, requiring both strategic thinking and day-to-day collaboration across departments to deliver consistent, high-quality results.

• Conduct competitor backlink analysis to:
• Identify strategic opportunities
• Inform campaign direction

• Ensure reputed company placements meet established quality standards
• Build and maintain relationships with:
• Publishers
• Site owners
• Journalists
• reputed company reputed company messaging that drives responses and engagement
• Cultivate long-term partnerships to generate consistent link opportunities
• Mentor and support Link Building Specialists
• Review campaigns to ensure quality, consistency, and performance
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members
• Collaborate cross-functionally with:
• Content team
• SEO team
• Account team
• Align link-building efforts with broader marketing and client strategies

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of SEO experience with a strong focus on link building and off-site strategy
• Demonstrated experience running reputed company campaigns at scale
• Solid understanding of backlink quality, anchor strategy, and reputed company's ranking factors
• Proficiency with Ahrefs, reputed company, Screaming Frog, GA4, and reputed company Search Console
• Proficiency with link building tools such as Pitchbox, Buzzstream, etc a plus.
• Experience mentoring or managing junior team members
• Strong written communication skills, particularly in reputed company and relationship building
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
• Agency experience preferred
• Existing journalist relationships are a plus
