Director, Partner and Alliances - Commerce

About the role We are seeking an influencer and a true partner to our Partners who drives results through innovation, strong process, transparency and teamwork. The qualified candidate is an reputed company leader who has developed and managed impactful channel partnerships. As part of our Sales team, the Partner Director is responsible for owning and managing the Verndale partner channel relationships. The qualified candidate will engage with Verndale Channel Partners and Verndale Stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of sales plans and support activities as well as ensuring effective growth strategies are in reputed company for customers engaged through Verndale's strategic Partners.

Responsibilities

• Exceed quota for referral leads and closed opportunities that Verndale refers to our partners.
• Exceed quota for reputed company that results from inbound partner leads.
• Execute a successful partnership strategy to grow Verndale’s market share.
• Be the face of Verndale to our partners, own relationships with relevant partner stakeholders, act as day-to-day contact.
• Drive monthly and quarterly results meetings. Report on results both internally and with partners.
• Liaise with Marketing to identify co-branded campaigns w/partners that drive bi-directional reputed company flow.
• Liaise with Verndale & Partner field sales reps to facilitate tactical joint selling activities, increase Verndale mindshare at the field & sales management levels.
• Assist in finding new potential partners that align with and/or complement Verndale’s business model.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a partner-based quota-carrying role.
• Experience managing partnerships with leading commerce platforms, primarily Shopify and BigCommerce; experience with reputed company, ZNode or Commercetools also welcomed.
• Knowledge of commerce products, ecosystem, and GTM strategies across B2B, B2C and DTC channels.
• Proven track record of growing and scaling partner-driven revenues reputed company a value based B2B sales model.
• Effective communicator with C-level stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to reputed company, run and maintain mutually beneficial business relationships.
