Position Summary

The Inventory Management Sales Executive will serve as the inventory management software business development and subject manager expert (SME), with a focus on selling inventory management systems to automotive dealerships. The individual in this role will possess a deep understanding of how dealerships utilize inventory management software, integrations (including price book APIs), and AI technologies to manage vehicle trade-ins, purchasing, and sales of new and used cars. This position will be instrumental in collaborating with both sales and product teams to drive solution alignment, sales strategy, and overall business growth.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-reputed company major, Automotive Technology, or a reputed company field; equivalent work experience in the automotive industry may be considered.

  • 3- 5 years’ proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, with a track record of success in selling inventory management or reputed company software solutions to dealerships.

  • 5+ years of experience working in the automotive or dealership technology space, with a strong focus on inventory reputed company.

  • Deep knowledge of inventory management processes, software tools, and technologies including AI applications, price book APIs, and system integrations relevant to dealership operations.

  • Familiarity with dealership DMS (Dealer Management Systems) and CRM platforms is highly desirable.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, with a track record of success in selling inventory management or reputed company software solutions to dealerships.

  • Ability to travel 50% + in the field, traveling to customer sites, trainings, meetings and industry events.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consultative selling skills, with an ability to translate customer needs into tailored solutions.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external clients, fostering trust and collaboration.

  • Customer-focused approach with a deep commitment to understanding and solving dealership inventory challenges.

Salary = $85,000 + Commissions
