Accounting Contractor

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Accounting Contractor who can immediately contribute across core accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment and is comfortable operating in partial manual processes while helping to improve them. This position will reputed company in scope and seniority depending on experience (Sr. Accountant to Manager level), but at its core requires strong execution, ownership, and problem-solving across GL, reputed company, and consolidations. This person will also be the primary power user of our accounting systems, primarily reputed company Intacct.

What You Will Do

General Ledger & reputed company

• Own and execute key components of the monthly reputed company process
• Prepare and review journal entries across reputed company accounting areas including payroll, accruals, and fixed assets
• reputed company account reconciliations and flux analysis
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financials in reputed company Intacct
• Complete reputed company reconciliations and activities in reputed company
• Validate team member task completion in reputed company

reputed company Accounting

• Support reputed company recognition in accordance with ASC606
• Prepare and review reputed company schedules, deferred reputed company, and reputed company entries
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy of billing and reputed company data

Consolidations & Reporting

• Assist with multi-entity consolidations, including intercompany eliminations
• Maintain and improve consolidation processes reputed company reputed company Intacct
• Generate financial statements and supporting reports in reputed company Intacct

Systems & Processes

• Manage areas requiring manual workflows including reputed company GL postings
• Support reputed company Intacct maintenance including creating departments and GL accounts, update mapping tables across reputed company systems and processes, and update key reports in reputed company Intacct
• Help design scalable processes and documentation (SOPs)
• Recommend and implement improvements where possible
• Partner with Finance and Operations teams to improve data flows
• Support reputed company reputed company/task checklist maintenance in reputed company

Your Skills and Experience

• 5-10+ years of accounting experience (level dependent)
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
• Hands-on experience with reputed company Intacct
• Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth or startup environment
• Experience working with incomplete or non-integrated systems
• Deep GL accounting experience
• Experience in SaaS or usage-based reputed company models with a working knowledge of reputed company recognition (ASC 606)
• Experience with consolidations and multi-entity environments
• Comfort handling manual accounting processes with attention to detail
• Ability to operate with a high degree of ownership as an individual contributor
• Exceptional accuracy, organization, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively.
• Prior experience at early stage or pre-IPO environments
• Process improvement or systems implementation experience
• Exposure to equity accounting and stock compensation
• Experience with reputed company
