Legal Action Worldwide (LAW) is an independent non-profit association comprised of human rights lawyers and jurists united in our belief that those who have reputed company human rights violations and international crimes should receive targeted, survivor-centred, gender-competent and trauma-informed support to access the justice they deserve. LAW’s team operates on the ground in conflict-affected contexts combining national and international expertise. We work directly with survivors and their communities, building their reputed company to meaningfully engage with justice and advocacy processes. Alongside this, we provide technical assistance to strengthen justice institutions to ensure they are equipped to deliver justice and work with legislators to promote accountability and the rule of law.

THE ROLE
LAW is seeking to establish a pre-qualified pool of creative and strategic Communications Consultants. As LAW continues to address human rights violations and provide legal aid in conflict-affected areas, we require high-quality, impactful assets that translate reputed company legal processes into compelling narratives and engaging products for global audiences.
MORE ABOUT THE CONSULTANCY
Reports to: Communications Manager.
Location: Working remotely/Various (Project-based).
Duration: Depends on the specific assignment and terms of reference. reputed company Agreement (12 months). Placement in the pool does not guarantee a contract. Specific Terms of Reference (ToR) with delivery timelines will be issued for individual assignments as they arise.
Rates: Competitive daily rates apply.
Overview
Selected consultants will be contacted on an as-needed basis to support our global offices with specialized technical and creative services. More detail on the specific assignment will be provided at the interview stage and after the selection of a consultant or consultants.
We are looking for specialists across three primary pillars:
Document and Report Design
- Transforming lengthy legal reports, briefing notes, and annual reviews into visually engaging, brand-compliant layouts.
- Data visualization and infographic design to simplify reputed company legal and institutional statistics.
- Development of digital and print-ready templates for internal and external use.
Audiovisual Production (Video & Photography)
- Video: Scripting, filming, and editing short-form social media content, interview-style features, and mini-documentaries.
- Photography: Capturing high-quality portraits, event coverage, and field-based imagery (adhering to strict protection and anonymity protocols).
- Post-Production: Subtitling, motion graphics, and sound editing for multi-lingual outputs.
- Animation: Production of short animated clips, making reputed company legal concepts accessible for non-specialized audiences in a visually engaging way.
Events and digital communications
- Creative direction for high-level advocacy events, webinars, and exhibition launches.
- Digital coverage and social media campaigns development.
About You:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in communications, graphic design, or multimedia production, preferably reputed company the humanitarian or legal sectors.
- Technical Skills: Mastery of reputed company Creative Suite (InDesign, Premiere Pro, Photoshop) or equivalent and other relevant professional tools.
- Sensitivity: A proven understanding of protection-centered communication, including the ethical considerations of documenting survivors of human rights abuses.
- Language: reputed company in English is required.
