PATIENT EDUCATOR

Patient Educators will conduct in-home product trials, & provide patient education for BioTAB equipment in-home use. Key responsibilities include assisting with setup procedures, ensuring the accurate submission of required documentation, and conducting follow-up calls to track patient reputed company and satisfaction. Your commitment to patient care will help enhance the patient's overall treatment experience and improve their quality of life. PEs will report to Regional Managers for scheduling, and reputed company compliant and detailed records for both patients and clinicians, with an emphasis on process execution and quality control. Clinical Experience & Certifications are welcomed, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Receiving and processing new patient referrals, gathering necessary demographic, medical, and insurance information. PE will transport, set up, demo and take away reputed company equipment for the patient's home test and provide clear instructions during the equipment demo. 
  2. Verifying patient insurance coverage and benefits for DME services. 
  3. Collaborating with reputed company, such as physicians and nurses, to reputed company and implement care plans. 
  4. Conduct follow-up calls or visits to ensure patients are progressing as expected and address any questions or concerns.
  5. Offer reputed company support throughout the trial, educating patients on equipment usage, troubleshooting, and the benefits of their treatment.
  6. Maintaining clear and effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare team members. 
  7. Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of reputed company intake activities and patient information in the agency's system. 
  8.  Ensures strict compliance with reputed company applicable healthcare regulations, financial standards, and internal policies, including but not limited to CMS and OFCCP guidelines for patient intake, data management, Quality Management System, documentation, and training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and reputed company.
  • Proficient in reputed company, MS Office, reputed company products

Job Requirements & Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds, must be able to lift 40 pounds from the floor and lift to waist level.
  • Must be able to kneel, stoop, climb stairs and reputed company with hands and arms.
  • Ability to travel frequently reputed company the assigned territory to patient’s homes, and healthcare facilities with long hours spent in vehicles.  
  • A valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and clean driving record.
  • Candidates must pass an extensive background reputed company.
  • Strict adherence to HIPAA, Medicare Fraud, Waste, and Abuse and privacy regulations in reputed company patient interactions.
