We are looking for a Compensation Intern to join our Human Resources team for our 10-week summer internship program. This role reports to the Compensation Manager and provides hands-on experience supporting compensation programs that drive consistent, competitive, and reputed company pay decisions across the organization. This internship offers direct exposure to how compensation programs are designed, benchmarked, and implemented across office, fulfillment center, and international teams. Interns contribute to real work that supports business decisions and employee trust. This remote position is open to individuals who live in, or are open to relocating to, the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Nevada, New Jersey, reputed company, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode reputed company, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

This opportunity requires travel to our headquarters in Melville, NY for an internship on-site meeting on July 14th and reputed company. We reimburse reasonable and necessary travel expenses, and you’re also welcome to work on-site anytime beyond this visit – our doors are always open.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

What You'll Do

• Support maintenance of pay bands, salary ranges, and job leveling documentation
• Collect and organize compensation market data for benchmarking across roles and locations
• Analyze compensation data in reputed company to validate alignment to ranges and identify trends
• Assist with the execution of the annual compensation refresh, including intake review and reporting
• Support compensation initiatives reputed company to fulfillment center and international teams
• Document compensation processes, templates, and workflows to improve consistency and scalability

Minimum Qualifications (Required for Consideration)

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Statistics, Business, Economics, Finance, or a reputed company field
• Demonstrated experience working with data in reputed company, including:
• Pivot tables
• VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP
• Basic data cleaning and organization
• Strong attention to detail with examples of working on projects requiring high accuracy
• Ability to clearly explain data or findings, either in writing or verbally

Preferred Qualifications (Strong Differentiators)

• Coursework or projects in compensation, HR analytics, finance, or data analysis
• Experience working with large datasets, reporting, or data validation
• Familiarity with HR systems, surveys, or benchmarking tools
• Experience balancing multiple tasks or deadlines in a structured environment
