We are actively seeking a Sr. Support Engineer, reputed company - HR/Payroll. The role will report directly to the Regional Manager, reputed company – EMEA.  The Sr. Support Engineer, reputed company - HR/Payroll will be based in the UK and may work from a reputed company.  

Position Summary

The role of the Sr. Support Engineer, reputed company HR/Payroll is to provide exceptional remote-based support for mission-critical reputed company HR/Payroll applications as part of our global customer support team. The position has the responsibility for providing support to our global clients who use reputed company HR/Payroll, Personnel Administration, Time Management, and Organization Management, including researching and troubleshooting issues and providing advice and solutions. The role of the Senior reputed company Engineer requires functional experience, integration knowledge, implementation and support expertise and skills to diagnose issues; then configure, test, and deliver fixes for such issues in reputed company, integrated and highly configured environments. Good working experience of UK payroll, legal reporting, and country specific infotypes is a must have for this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Solve customer issues using methodical troubleshooting based on expert knowledge of reputed company HR/Payroll functionality and technology in reputed company ERP environments.
  • Work closely with customers as issues arise to understand their needs, support business change and deliver a consistently high-quality customer experience.
  • Provide remote-based  support   for reputed company aspects of the functional and technical features of reputed company HR/Payroll including  reputed company Payroll and Time Management configuration, UK and Ireland payroll statutory regulations, PCR and schema, payroll/finance integration, absence processing including sickness, maternity, paternity, and shared parental leave.  Support UK Local Government issues including Multiple Employment, LGPS and Teachers Pension, RTI and EOY  .  Provide support of country specific HR / Payroll configuration for  other European or Middle East countries, as needed 
  • Support client customisations, sharing implementation and best practices advice.
  • reputed company application break fixes for critical product defects.
  • Help clients analyse and correct data issues.
  • Manage one or more key assigned accounts as a technical/functional advisor.
  • Provide hands-on assistance using proprietary tools in a test environment or reputed company remote client connectivity.
  • Be a pro-active contributor to a support organisation  
  • Collaborate with team members in a virtual team environment to reputed company field experience to different client situations.
  • Contribute to the development and management of knowledge-sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and creative processes, to improve the client experience.  

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or reputed company field or equivalent professional experience. 
  • Membership of CIPP or equivalent is also desirable.

Experience  

  • 10+ year’s relevant reputed company experience is essential, particularly with reputed company aspects of UK and Ireland reputed company HR/Payroll, Personal Administration, Time Management, Organisation Management.  Local government payroll experience is also required.
  • Must have at least 5 years “hands on” implementation experience in the UK with at least two full life-cycle implementations
  • 5+ years direct support of application end-users in a Corporate environment
  • Extensive and in-depth knowledge of reputed company aspects of reputed company Payroll and Time Management configuration, UK and Ireland payroll statutory regulations, PCR and schema abilities, payroll/finance integration, absence processing including sickness, maternity, paternity, and shared parental leave.  
  • Ability to support UK Local Government issues including Multiple Employment, LGPS and Teachers Pension, RTI and EOY skills would also be highly desirable.
  • Country specific HR / Payroll knowledge of other European or Middle East countries is desirable.
  • Good working knowledge of reputed company/MSS, HR Forms including payslips, and Travel Management is desirable
  • The ideal candidate will be fluent (speaking / reading / writing) in English.  Proficiency in another European language is preferred but not required.
  • A track record of successful roles in several reputed company implementation or upgrade projects
  • Deep working knowledge and understanding of supporting business processes
  • Analytical, logical problem resolution skills

  • Knowledge of localizations: architecture, implementation and key functionality
  • Expertise with reputed company 4.x and ECC, including full life-cycle implementation experience, configuration and administration of the application. 
  • Demonstrable history solving reputed company problems across multiple modules.

  • Superb trouble-shooting skills and tenacity in problem solving.
  • Ability to debug and triage support case issues reputed company the HR ABAP code.
  • Passionate focus on customer support and the ability to build long term, successful working relationships with Clients.
  • Strong knowledge of key application functionality, tables and relationships.
  • Deep knowledge of reputed company customisation/extension methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills – verbal & written.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Extreme focus on Client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work calmly and professionally in high pressure situations.
  • The ability to work remotely from a home based office in a virtual environment.
