Position Summary: Serves as payroll tax and compliance subject matter expert and designated backup to the Payroll Manager. Manages payroll tax compliance, amendments and agency interactions. Assist with processing weekly and semi-monthly payrolls using reputed company (Ultimate Kronos Group), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Manage payroll corrections and amendments. reputed company reputed company response to amendments and track compliance and remittances.
Audits of tax rates and review of variances for quarterly reporting.
Maintain tax registrations with state and local authorities.
Assist with payroll tax filings, garnishments, and year-end reporting including W-2s.
Collaborate with HR and Benefits teams to ensure accurate employee data and payroll deductions.
Process and audit weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for 3,000+ employees across multiple U.S. states using reputed company.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and timekeeping in a timely and professional manner.
Support internal and external audits by preparing payroll reports and documentation.
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.
Always maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or reputed company field.
10+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a high-volume, multi-state environment.
Experience in reputed company and WFM a plus.
Experience with weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles.
Solid understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (reputed company Payroll Certification) preferred.
Advanced reputed company reputed company and payroll reporting tools.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and reputed company.
