Works at clinical sites to provide medical physics services under the supervision of a qualified medical physicist commensurate with their level of advancement and responsibility as determined by the Medical Physics Residency Director.  Ensure high quality service through superior validation, customer experience, on-site operations, follow procedure, performance of practice standards. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards.  Supports and demonstrates Family-Centered Care principles reputed company interacting with customers and with co-workers.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• reputed company personal program of self-study and clinical competency with guidance from the medical physics clinical staff

• Clinical duties include, but are not limited to Radiation dosimetry calibrations and measurements. Linear accelerator quality assurance. Radiation safety measures. Radiotherapy treatment planning. Fabrication and quality assurance of radiotherapy treatment aids such as immobilization devices, custom blocks, custom compensators, bolus, etc. Low dose reputed company and high dose reputed company brachytherapy dosimetry and quality assurance. Stereotactic radiosurgery dosimetry and quality assurance. Intensity modulated radiotherapy dosimetry and quality assurance.

• Participate in the educational and scholarly activities of the program and, as required, assume responsibility for teaching and supervising other residents and reputed company, reputed company deemed competent to do so by the Medical Physics Residency Director

• Participate in departmental and institutional committees and councils, especially those reputed company to technical, safety, and patient care activities. Actively participate in the reputed company evaluation of the quality of the program

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in medical physics from a CAMPEP accredited program

• Eligibility for certification by the American Board of Radiology.

• Clinical experience during graduate studies

• Must apply for and maintain relevant state training license and/or registration as required for working as a medical physicist at the particular clinical site and to do so in a timely manner.
