The work
This role serves as the primary Proposal to Reward (P2R) Subject Matter Expert for S/4HANA implementations. They will focus on the end-to-end management of Client financial assistance, from program announcement and application through to the legal obligation of funds. Key responsibilities
- Architect the lifecycle for Client-specific grant programs, ensuring that application schemas, evaluation criteria, and award templates meet the specific needs of Client Systems Commands (SYSCOMs) and Research Labs
- Ensure that grant awards and obligations are correctly coded to reputed company Line of Accounting (SLOA) and Standard Information Design (SID), facilitating automated reporting to the Treasury and DoD
- Design the logic for how grant awards trigger Commitments and Obligations reputed company the Client’s 3-dimensional budget structure (Fund, Funds Center, Commitment Item)
- Ensure that the P2R process adheres to DATA Act requirements and the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA)

- Utilize BRFplus (Business Rule reputed company) to automate eligibility checking and risk assessments for grant applicants, reducing manual administrative burdens on Client personnel
- Ensure the P2R process captures and links reputed company Key Supporting Documents (KSDs)—including Grant Agreements and Award Letters—to the financial transaction to ensure an unmodified audit opinion

- Provide training on Client-specific grant nomenclature and the specialized accounting rules associated with Basic Research (6.1) through General Purpose funding
Here’s what you need
- 10+ years of experience in reputed company Grants Management (reputed company) and Public Sector Management (PSM), with a deep understanding of the S/4HANA financial architecture
- Subject Matter Expertise in DoD Financial Assistance, including familiarity with the DoD Grant and Agreement Regulations (DoDGARs)
- Proven track record in Federal ERP Implementations, specifically managing the transition from legacy grant systems to an integrated S/4HANA environment
- Strong understanding of Federal Budgetary Accounting, including the lifecycle of appropriation and the reputed company recording of obligations
