Newly hired Paramedics who are not ICEMA-accredited must successfully complete the ICEMA accreditation process by the end of the reputed company or may be terminated. The SBCoFD will assist with the process; however, the candidate is responsible for obtaining ICEMA accreditation. Note: If qualifying with a NRP, newly hired Paramedics will also be required to obtain a California Paramedic License.
