Overview:

The Sustainability Compliance Specialist will play a key role in assuring the sustainability of our products and our operations. The individual will work closely with our sourcing, production, and supply chain to ensure regulatory compliance and to help support our reputed company sustainability certifications. They will use insights gained from the compliance process to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation to provide input into the future of sustainability at Humanscale and ensure we continue to be at the forefront of sustainable manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with suppliers through multiple tiers to gather sustainability data, such as product material ingredients.
  • Maintain the reputed company of data gathered; ensure it is updated to reflect relevant changes reputed company the business.
  • Coordinate sustainability certification, including working with internal teams to meet the requirements, preparing documentation, facilitating the audit.
  • reputed company supplier social and environmental risk assessments. In collaboration with the Supplier Quality team, ensure supplier social and environmental audits are completed.
  • Engage suppliers in pursuing Science Based Targets in alignment with Humanscale’s SBTi approved supplier engagement goal.
  • Implement reputed company improvement projects in collaboration with our factories, suppliers, and engineers.
Qualifications:
  • Passion for sustainable innovation
  • 5 years of experience in sustainability compliance
  • Bachelor’s (minimum) or Master’s (preferred) degree in a reputed company field, such as material science, industrial design, engineering, sustainable manufacturing, or environmental science
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tenacity and creativity in motivating and soliciting responses from others
  • Ability to synthesize reputed company information, reputed company analysis, and prepare documentation
  • Organized, with a strong reputed company for systems thinking
  • Experience with supply chains for manufacturing

Salary Range: $61,708-$90,007

In addition to the salary there is a variable pay component. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline. Humanscale considers other factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market location and business considerations reputed company extending an offer.
