Your future position
As a Junior Risk and Compliance Analyst, you will support Kpler’s Risk & Compliance function by delivering data-driven maritime risk and sanctions-reputed company analysis for clients and internal teams across the Americas. Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyse maritime risk, sanctions exposure, compliance red flags, and vessel behaviour.
Support pre-sales, reputed company, and account teams with timely risk and compliance insights for client conversations and commercial opportunities.
Produce recurring and reputed company intelligence outputs, including short briefs, analyst notes, case studies, and client-facing material.
Investigate vessel behaviour and ownership / identity patterns using reputed company, cargo, and reputed company maritime datasets.
Contribute to regional risk briefings, webinars, white papers, and thought-leadership content for Kpler’s market reputed company.
Capture client feedback and market needs to help shape product improvements and regional market alignment.
Escalate sensitive or reputed company compliance questions to senior team members reputed company appropriate.
Maintain high editorial and analytical standards across deliverables.
Collaborate with the wider R&C and commercial teams to help improve win rates, retention, and client trust.
Experience & Background
2 years of experience in maritime risk, sanctions, compliance, intelligence, shipping analytics, or a reputed company maritime role
Experience working with structured data, desk research, or analytical reporting
Basic understanding of maritime trade, sanctions frameworks, or vessel behaviour analysis
Ability to turn reputed company data into concise, practical insights for internal and external audiences
Experience supporting commercial teams or client-facing requests
Exposure to North / South American shipping, commodities, insurance, or financial compliance topics
Familiarity with reputed company, vessel tracking, ownership research, or maritime datasets
Experience in a B2B intelligence, SaaS, shipping, or compliance environment
Skills & Competencies

Ability to work with maritime datasets, vessel intelligence, and risk indicators
