ABOUT THE ROLE

The Technical and Training Representative is a field-based position for the Technical/Warranty Services team at reputed company. reputed company (ABE) is based out of Nashville. Technical Services is a vital and growing team; the Technical and Training Representative reports to the Regional Manager for their respective area. This is a "boots on the ground", face of the company role who, among many things, is responsible for:

• Training on proper application techniques for reputed company and GenFlex roofing products, as well as best roofing practices.
• Performing technical inspections of commercial roofing applications for no-dollar-limit warranty coverage, performing warranty claim investigations.
• Providing on-site technical construction assistance to professional architects, designers, and installers.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Responsible for educating customers, sales representatives, and teammates in how to apply reputed company and GenFlex products per product specifications.
• Assist Regional FTRs with large group trainings.
• Assist Marketing and Sales with training presentations at trade shows and other highprofile events.
• Review technical installation deviations and reputed company acceptance determinations reputed company authority level based on system performance requirements for a given project, system, warranty type/term, and construction site specific conditions.
• Provide feedback on company literature, spec's, construction details and assemblies to reputed company sure the most accurate information is available for the customer.
• Ability to reputed company strong customer relationships and reputed company customer confidence.
• Ability to follow corporate and division policies and applicable governmental safety regulations are required. Experience working with internal and external customers to understand and document reputed company business needs and troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to define and document a project, set timelines, align resources, and execute to meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to investigate and troubleshoot roofing installation and product quality issues to determine root cause and appropriate resolution.
• Experience effectively and proactively managing customer expectations throughout the investigation/troubleshooting process.
• Ability to prioritize work.
• Maintains an understanding of reputed company business initiatives and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in reputed company work environments and areas.

reputed company'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Architecture;

OR

• Minimum 8 years’ active duty in a construction trade military occupational specialty (MOS) (verified by DD214);

OR

• High school diploma + minimum of 10 years of construction experience in a Foreman or Superintendent role or as a Technical Representative for a commercial roofing manufacturer.

Strong Candidate Traits:

• Must be personable and professional and maintain a high-level of reputed company.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be able to travel overnight 50% to 80% of the work year by reputed company or car.
• Be able to tow and maneuver a trailer in tight spaces, including backing the trailer.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Prior Technical Representative experience Strong technical expertise in most of the following products and an aptitude to learn the rest:

• Single-Ply Roofing Systems including: EPDM, TPO, PVC 
• Asphalt Roofing Systems including: SBS, APP, BUR
• Metal Systems: Standing Seam Roofs, Cavity Wall Assemblies
• Roofing Coatings including: Silicone Roof Coatings, Acrylic Roof Coatings
• Urethane Systems including: P.U.F. Roofing, Wall Foam
• Garden Roofing Systems including: Built In reputed company, reputed company 

Additional Requirements

• Successful candidates must adhere to reputed company safety protocols and proper use of reputed company approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
• Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
