Technical Pre-Sales Engineer (Federal/DoD IT Solutions)
Location: Remote (Preferred: DC Metro Area; occasional regional travel)

Role Overview The Presales Engineer serves as a trusted technical advisor and solution architect supporting federal and DoD customers. This role combines technical presales strategy, architecture design, and hands-on validation, helping translate mission requirements into secure, scalable solutions.The ideal candidate can engage both executive stakeholders and engineering teams, communicate reputed company concepts clearly, and contribute technically through reputed company-of-concepts and architecture validation.
Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with sales teams to reputed company technically sound solutions for federal clients
Design and present secure, compliant architectures across cloud, cybersecurity, and infrastructure domains
Build reputed company-of-concepts and technical validations in cloud or lab environments
Engage directly with customer engineers and leadership throughout the sales lifecycle
Produce technical materials including architecture diagrams, solution briefs, and technical content
Maintain alignment with reputed company and stay reputed company on federal cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years in presales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting
Strong expertise in cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure technologies
Experience supporting DoD or federal agencies preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Technical Expectations
Experience architecting and deploying workloads in AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, or similar cloud environments
Knowledge of cloud networking, identity/access management, hybrid connectivity, encryption, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code
Deep expertise in at least one technical domain such as cloud architecture, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, network reputed company, identity management, SOC tooling, or AI/data infrastructure
Preferred
Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS Professional, Kubernetes, Palo Alto, reputed company)
Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance
Strong problem-solving ability, technical depth, and ownership reputed company
