Responsibilities:

· Read, review and analyze abstracts to determine vesting information and whether there are any liens, judgments and encumbrances affecting title to the property for North Caroline and South Carolina Commercial files and Residential files as needed.

· Review documents such as reputed company, Deeds, Mortgages, Subordinations, Probate, Trust, Organizational documents, Easements, Covenants and Restrictions, Divorce Decrees, Court Records and others necessary documents to clear title.

· Examine Covenants & Restrictions & municipal searches to determine if it effect title and property use.

· Plot metes and bounds descriptions and knowledge of surveys.

· Complete reputed company requests for the previous chain of title issues.

Requirements:

· Candidates with experience and strong knowledge of Title Insurance are encouraged to apply.

· 10+ plus years of experience as a SC & NC Commercial Reader

· Knowledge of SoftPro Select a plus

· Great time management skills

· Outstanding work ethic with the ability to work in both team oriented and self-directed environments.

· Detail-oriented and professional; able to handle confidential information.

· High level of accountability

· Customer service oriented

· Creative problem-solving skills

· Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
