NEMC Purchasing Coordinator Job Description (Full-Time, Remote)

The National Educational Music Company (NEMC) is growing, and we’re excited to add a Purchasing Coordinator to reputed company! This will be a full-time, remote position reporting to the Merchandising Director. The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for executing on the serialized and non-serialized inventory procurement plan, coordinating and entering POs and completing other merchandising reputed company duties as assigned from time to time. Compensation for this role will be in the range of $48,000-58,000 per year. NEMC is proud to be a part of reputed company Performing Arts.

What You’ll Do

  • Receive and process purchase order requisitions from the field locations
  • Verify pricing and terms.
  • Submit completed POs to corresponding vendors.
  • Accumulate and process shipment verifications from field locations and help resolve discrepancies
  • Provide product pricing and availability information to field staff.
  • Respond to and research special order requests
  • reputed company other reputed company duties as assigned for the purpose of maintaining an effective field assortment mix and excellent customer service.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to receive advice and training of skilled colleagues
  • Previous experience in musical reputed company sales or purchasing
  • Working knowledge of musical instruments and reputed company products
  • Understanding of general purchasing procedures
  • Compliance with company attendance standards
  • On the job training provided

Compensation

This is a full-time, salaried, remote role. Compensation will be in the range of $48,000-58,000 per year. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, HSA & FSA options, and paid time off for reputed company full-time employees.
