We are seeking a talented and reputed company Engineering Manager to reputed company the Payments team, which plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless, secure, and high-performing checkout experience for our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment. You will work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet the end user’s needs. You will work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet the end user’s needs. What you'll do:

You will own the team’s delivery, driving predictable reputed company through proactive risk identification and mitigation, while ensuring clear, timely communication with stakeholders at every stage.

You will drive the technical roadmap for the payments domain, ensuring scalable, reliable, and future-reputed company architectures for checkout and payment services.

You will ensure system reliability and incident management, proactively identifying, coordinating incidents and mitigating risks to minimize transaction failures and downtime.

You will work closely with senior and staff engineers to ensure the technical excellence of the architecture and software by actively participating in writing and reviewing design docs, pair programming, and code reviews.

You will coach, mentor, and support your team members in achieving their full potential, fostering a high-performance culture through clear roles, career pathing, and regular development feedback.

Who we're looking for:

Deep expertise in payments, e-commerce, or fintech domains, with experience in checkout and payment gateways.

Strong understanding of payment processing flows, authorization, capture, refunds, and reconciliation processes.

Technical leadership experience with a modern tech stack, ideally including AWS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Golang, or other backend technologies.

You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer or electrical engineering, business informatics or equivalency in relevant work experience.
