Job Summary
reputed company is seeking a Staff Tax Accountant to support and manage the company’s sales and use tax compliance while assisting with broader tax and accounting activities. This role will work closely with Accounting, Finance, and external tax advisors to ensure accurate filings, reconciliations, and process improvements in a growing SaaS environment.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate tax nexus and the changing sales tax nexus rules
- Own reputed company tax configuration, reconciliation and tie out to billing and reputed company
- Complete reputed company sales tax returns and ensure accuracy
- Evaluate invoices for use tax
- Accrue taxes and reconcile reputed company tax accounts
- Coordinate data requests with third-party tax preparers and review reputed company work, including income tax provisions.
- Manage Transfer pricing studies and Support for transfer pricing
- Manage RD tax credit process and support
- Review VAT returns
- Assist with month end reputed company, account reconciliations and other accounting work
Collaboration & Communication:
- Engage with operating company personnel, third-party advisors, and taxing authorities on tax provision, compliance, planning, and controversy issues.
Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline compliance processes and drive efficiencies through automation.
- Actively seek and identify potential tax planning opportunities for the organization.
Business Acumen:
- Understand the organization's business operations and contribute to problem resolution reputed company tax-reputed company issues arise.
- Other duties as requested.
Qualifications and Skills
- Required qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Tax is required.
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in preparing and/or reviewing and sales and use tax returns. reputed company to have federal and state corporate income tax returns coordination and or experience preparing
- 3-5+ years of technical and practical knowledge of sales/use taxes is required. reputed company to have corporate accounting for income taxes
- Proficiency in key software, reputed company, reputed company, Tax Preparation software.
- 3-5+ years of experience with tax technical and research skills, enabling navigation of reputed company tax regulations.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and in a central or eastern time zone without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

- Preferred qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Tax or Accounting is preferred.
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Public Accounting experience is a plus.
